GATEWAY TO THE WEST H.O.G. CHAPTER RIDE RULES Rides and events put on by The Gateway to the West H.O.G. Chapter are open to current members only. Any visitor, guest, or non-current member must sign a standard release form to participate. All children must have a signed release form signed by their parents or legal guardian. (no exceptions) Aunts, uncles, grand-parents, or friends cannot sign the form. Chapter riders will obey all local and state rules including helmet laws. Any member that is intentionally riding in an unsafe manner putting themselves or others at risk will be asked to leave the ride. The use of alcohol before and/or during a ride is not permitted. Please help us by taking care of these details before hand so that no one has to be turned away. Release forms can be obtained before each ride from the road captains. Chapter rides are closed events, all rides end at the planned destination point. Your help to maintain these requirements is appreciated. As a sanctioned chapter under National H.O.G. we are required to adhere to these rules. Remember all rides leave from Gateway Harley Davidson. Please arrive early for the “sign-up” and pre-ride meeting. Please have a full tank of gas, an empty bladder and always perform a pre-ride check of your bike. If you have questions about a ride, please talk to the Road Captain leading the ride. All Gateway to the West Road Captains and our Safety Officer would like for you read & become familiar with Gateway ride rules. These rules are created and recommended by Harley Davidson and M.S.F. (Motorcycle Safety Foundation) Lets all go ride safely; enjoy the ride and friendships created... If you have questions please ask a Road Captain or the Safety Officer.
