WHAT IS L.O.H.?

L.O.H. stands for Ladies of Harley. More women than ever before are enjoying the sport of motorcycling. Ladies of Harley is a program created by H.O.G./Harley Owners Group; to encourage the participation of women and motorcycling. It is a group sponsored by the chapter; not a separate

organization. It is a group for women motorcycling enthusiasts; both for drivers and passengers to have fun and create new friendships. Anyone these days that thinks a Harley Davidson Motorcycle is a man’s machine must have their head in the sand; just look around and you will see what we mean.

WHO IS L.O.H.?                                                                                                                                                  

Gateway to the West L.O.H. is an active group of ladies who own & ride and/or are passengers on the back seat with their significant other. You must be an active member of H.O.G. to be affiliated with the Ladies of Harley. L.O.H. affiliation is not automatic. You must fill in the box on the National H.O.G. application or call the H.O.G. office at 1-800-CLUB-HOG. Gateway to the West L.O.H. is a very proud part of the chapter.

WHY L.O.H.?

It is an integral part of Gateway to the West H.O.G. and responsible for many of our events; keeping in mind motorcycling and having fun. L.O.H. offers its members a special embroidered patch and pin during the first year of membership. Each renewal year, L.O.H. members receive an L.O.H. pin indicating the year of membership. This is free to current National H.O.G. members. For all female motorcycle enthusiasts it is a great way to become active with your new family.

GOALS of Gateway to the West L.O.H.

    1.    Create new friendships, and have fun

   2.   Get more women involved and comfortable with the Harley Davidson Motorcycling experience.

Each year, Gateway HOG Ladies of Harley host several rides and events for Gateway HOGs including rides, movie nights, Veterans' bingo, etc. Below are photos from a few of the 2009 events:
